So, your trip is booked and the planning has begun! If one of your first stops is going to be a princess or knight makeover for your little one at the Bippity Boppity Boutique, then you may want to consider extending the magic of this day with a character dining experience. There is nothing as special as seeing your little one standing next to his or her favorite princess or character.
There are several Royal Dining Experiences to choose from. Two of my personal favorites are Cinderella’s Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot. At Cinderella’s Royal Table you will be escorted into the castle where you are greeted by Cinderella herself! The Royal Table has several options serving breakfast, lunch and dinner once seated at your table you will have the opportunity to meet several other Story Book Princesses stopping by for autographs and photo taking. Prices range from ( $ 35.99 to 59.99 ) if you are using the Disney Dining Plan this event requires 2 table service dining credits. At Akershus you are escorted into a medieval castle where you will have the opportunity to feast with several Story Book Princesses such as Belle, Snow White, Ariel and Aurora. This event is also open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prices range from ( $35.99 to 59.99 ) and requires only one table service credit if using the dining plan. These dining experiences also require park admission. Just announced this week Disney will be adding a new Character dining experience set to open this spring at Trattoria al Forno Restaurant on Disney’s Boardwalk. Here you will have the opportunity to dine with Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder from Tangled and also Ariel and Prince Eric from the little mermaid. Prices for this event have not yet been released.
There are two options available at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Cinderella’s Happily Ever after Dinner: this event celebrates the marriage of Cinderella and Prince Charming! Attending this celebration you will find Tremaine Cinderella’s evil step mother, also Anastasia and Druzilla, her stepsisters, who will keep you laughing during this fun filled event. This dinner is served buffet style with many options to suit everyone’s pallet. Prices range from ( $35.00 to 59.99 ) and requires one credit if using the dining plan. If you are looking for the ultimate royal treatment, I suggest The Perfectly Princess Tea Party where you will be greeted by Rose Petal, a magic rose from princess Aurora’s garden. She will lead you in a special princess parade, sing-alongs and storytelling. Afterwards, you will dine on heart shaped sandwiches, princess cake, and special tea ( apple juice ) for the little one’s and a selection of teas for the adults. During the festivities, Princess Aurora herself has been known to stop by for a visit! In addition to all the fun, your little princess will be showered with gifts, which includes an 18 inch Princess Aurora doll with gown and accessories, sticker page and Best Friend certificate, princess tiara, silver princess necklace and bracelet, a fresh rose and a cinch bag. This special event is held on select mornings at 10:30 am and admission is ( $333.64 ) for one guest age 10+ and one guest ages 3 to 9 to add additional guests it is a charge of ( $ 234.08 per child 3-9 and $ 98.66 per guest 10+).
Which ever option you choose for your special day, advance reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days prior.
